There are fewer dives in the world which offer the excitement that the Deer Creek Kelp Beds do. They are located between Point Mugu Rock and Malibu on the Pacific Coast Highway (HWY 1) in Southern California. The spear fishing is excellent, the visibility is often good and the excitement of entering and exiting the water through very active surf is the thrill of a lifetime!
The Sea Life is more than abundant with harbor seals, sea lions, dolphins sharks and more fish than one can imagine in one place, including thousands of beautiful Garibaldi the California State Fish!
The next dive is set for next weekend, check out the schedule below for dates and times to meet up and go diving. If you are a beginner or are inexperienced in surf diving just let us know ahead of time and we will ensure that you have a dive buddy that can show you the ropes!
